HISTORY OF ALPHA

Masud Khan, Managing Director, established Alpha in 1997, having recognised the needs of the public and voluntary sectors for the provision of a reliable and consistent linguist service. Alpha has progressed through various stages of development. Initially providing services to organisations in the legal sector, we have evolved and expanded over the years. Whilst still remaining the largest supplier to the legal sector, Alpha is now well established in other sectors such as commerce, finance and technology. We have emerged as a leading supplier of translating and interpreting services in Scotland, whilst also managing clients nationally and internationally.

The company has grown from a one man start-up to a multi-branch operation. Year upon year the company has acquired further experience, a wider client base, and national recognition. Our recent award of the national contract to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service reflects our continued growth.
